Coforge and Chippenham RFC Partner to Support Rugby, Cricket and Community Development

Partnership will help widen participation, nurture local talent and create opportunities for people across the community

London, UK | Greater Noida, India | October 28, 2026 – Coforge Limited (NSE: COFORGE), a global AI-native engineering services leader, and Chippenham Rugby Football Club (RFC) announced a community partnership to support local talent and participation in rugby and cricket, while contributing to the wider community. The partnership was formally launched at Chippenham RFC’s home at Allington Fields with representatives from Coforge, Chippenham RFC and invited stakeholders.

Under the theme “Raising Our Game. Together.”, the partnership brings together two organisations committed to investing in people and enabling long-term development. Coforge will support Chippenham RFC’s community role across rugby and cricket, including its work to encourage participation, nurture talent and create opportunities for people of different ages and abilities.

Founded in 1898, Chippenham RFC is a member-run community club with more than 1,000 members and the support of over 100 volunteers. Its programmes span senior men’s and women’s rugby, junior, girls’ and mini rugby, as well as mixed ability touch and walking rugby. The club also supports cricket at its 22-acre Allington Fields site, which includes a cricket ground and pavilion alongside rugby pitches, training areas, an all-weather multi-sports pitch and clubhouse facilities.

Beyond sport, Chippenham RFC works with local schools and community organisations to encourage participation and support development. Its long-running activities include the Chippenham Schools Tag Rugby Festival, which has previously brought together more than 200 local pupils. The club has also helped developed over 60 players who have represented their countries at full international, student or schools level.
